What’s the Difference Between a Preferred Provider and a Strategic Partner?

Strategic Partners are companies and organizations with whom we refer our members and artists’ community to get information on products and services that are usually regulated by the government. These industries include insurance, financial planning, banks, health care and others. We also include governmental agencies in this category, like the SBA, Small Business Development Center, and the like.

Preferred Providers offer WAN Members products and services that are important, and sometimes essential, to operating a successful business. Our Preferred Providers give WAN Members discounts, offer special programs, and other benefits to WAN Members. They also teach classes through WAN, provide helpful articles for The Artist Entrepreneur newsletter and WAN’s blogsite, and participate in the quarterly Business Momentum Workshops.

Preferred Providers are usually independent business owners – soloprenurs – who face the same challenges we artist entrepreneurs face giving them an extra layer of “understanding” that we love.
