WAN Members | Karen L. Dixon - Artist, Illustrator, Animator

I am an illustrator with a cartoony style and an ironic sense of humor. I like to zoom in on odd moments in peoples lives. Some are universal and some are specific to individuals. With either, I like my subjects to make you smile and get you to think.

As a artist, it’s my job to let the world know when it’s taking itself a little too seriously. I rely on the world to do the same for me.

WAN Members | Jackie D. Blank - Painter, Mixed Media Artist, Photographer

I have been an ‘artist’ since the age of 5 - that is, if drawing cane-style birds with weird wings, funky looking hearts, 3-point tulips, and stick figure family portraits that included pets drawn with Crayola crayons - qualifies a person as an artist.

I am having fun and still love the adventure of learning new things. As I evolve as a spiritual/human being, my art evolves. Who knows what will be next? My current focus is on painting/collage, spirit masks, and nature photography.

Photography has been an integral part of my artist profession for close to 30 years. Vision Path Photography is so named for what I seek in all of my artwork.

Each of my subjects is a special entity expressing itself to me with a story. When they permit me to share their story in photos, it's a wonderful thing.
